Michael Jordan was born on February 17th 1963, in Wilmington, North Carolina. Michael Jordan was the best basketball player ever. But he didn't make the Laney High basketball team. In college basketball, Jordan played college basketball for the North Carolina Tar Heels. One time, he made a 3-pointer at the buzzer to win the championchip. Michael Jordan played NBA basketball for the Chicago Bulls. He was named the rookie of the year in only his first season. In 1993, he anounced that he was going to retire from basketball. Michael Jordan returned to the national basketball assosciation(NBA). Michael Jordan retired for good after the 2001-2002 NBA season. Even one time he knew he was going to be away from home on halloween, he wrote a note on the door that said, "Kids: Sorry I missed you on halloween, if you still want a trick-or-treat, come back here in three days.
